Farmers’ market, Bistro and Groovin’ this Saturday
by Bill Powell - Events Director - Maritime Museum
With the one month hiatus, everybody has been “jonesing” for that fresh produce and eggs, goat cheese, crafts and art of the Deltaville Farmers’ Market and those baked-from-scratch biscuit breakfast sandwiches and famous barbecue at Billz Bistro. Well, this Saturday, June 28, there’s all that and a great evening of a Groovin’ in the Park concert too!
For information about the museum and waterfront exhibits, see related story in this issue of the Sentinel.
On stage this Saturday starting at 5 p.m. are local rockers “33 East.” For all things 33 East, visit http://www.33eastband.com. Beginning around 6 p.m., the popular reggae band from Urbanna, “Stuck on a Name,” takes the stage until a little after 8 p.m. For their music and information, visit http://www.stuckonaname.com.
Tickets are $10 in advance and at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Advance tickets for Groovin’ are available at the museum office and Nauti Nell’s in Deltaville.
