Deltaville Seafood Festival on two campuses set for May 13
On Saturday, May 13, the 4th annual Deltaville Seafood Festival will celebrate life on the waterfront with outstanding fresh local seafood from a variety of “mini-restaurants,” distinctive gifts and keepsakes from Virginia artisans and craftsmen, music, educational activities for all ages on two beautiful campuses, music by the “Tom Euler Trio,” and a Little League Baseball tournament in historic Deltaville Ballpark.
As in previous years, the festival is expanding in 2017. More fun is guaranteed, including young children’s activities in the “KidsVille” area, and a rocking Lip Sync Contest for tweens and teens. The successful Rock Wall and Casting Contest return. Both test strength, skill, and finesse.
The Little League Tournament will feature unveiling of the Phase 1 renovations to the historic ballpark on Friday evening, with games taking place every two hours all day Saturday.
Talented local guitarist Tom Euler is back by popular demand. Proceeds support the Deltaville Community Association (DCA) that maintains the pool, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, ballpark, and the Deltaville Community Center. For more information on the festival, visit http://www.deltavilleseafoodfestival.com or follow “Deltaville Seafood Festival” on Facebook.
Saturday’s events begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
