Deltaville Seafood Festival has music all day both days

Looking for a family-oriented, pet-friendly, fun-filled weekend in a quaint riverfront community on the Middle Peninsula? Look no further. The 6th Annual Deltaville Seafood Festival has expanded to a big two-day event this year, Friday and Saturday, May 10-11. This festival celebrates Deltaville’s seafood and working waterfront heritage with lots of local seafood, including oysters. Rain or shine, the festival goes on.

Deltaville is the “Boating Capital of the Chesapeake Bay” and is conveniently located at the mouth of the Rappahannock River on the Chesapeake Bay.

This event is totally free and open to everyone, young and old. The festival entertainment kicks off at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, and runs until 9 p.m.

Adult beverages (wine and beer) will be available for purchase and allowed throughout the festival grounds. A valid ID is required as proof of age 21 or older; no coolers allowed.

There’s plenty of parking for a $5 donation per vehicle.

All proceeds support the Deltaville Community Association (DCA) which is a 501(c)(3) organization. The DCA maintains the pool, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, ball park and the Deltaville Community Center.

Follow the festival on Facebook at DeltavilleSeafoodFestival and visit http://www.deltavilleseafoodfestival.com.
