Deltaville Farmers’ Market to feature 30 exhibitors

The Deltaville Farmers’ Market will be Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holly Point Nature Park at the Deltaville Maritime Museum. As many as 30 exhibitors are expected, offering everything from fresh produce and fine art to oyster floats.

This may be the last opportunity to see the wildflower garden in full bloom so come out and pick a few flowers to take home. Also, check out the progress of the museum buyboat “F.D. Crockett” on the Pierwalk.

To find the market, drive through Deltaville past Hurd’s Hardware and the rescue squad building. There will be plenty of signs to direct motorists to Jackson Creek Road. Turn right, and a short distance down the road is the entrance to the park on the left. By water, come into Mill Creek at the entrance to Jackson Creek. Follow the markers to the museum’s docks—there’s plenty of room.

For vendor information, call 804-776-6950.
