image
A J/70 sportboat USA354 named “Airspeed” and owned by David Hinckle of Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville will be one of the regatta competitors. It is the first time J/70 boats will be included in the competition.

Activities open to the public at Maritime Museum

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is being flooded with registrations from racers around the Chesapeake Bay to participate in the Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta on July 11-13 in Deltaville. For the first time, regatta activities will be based at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park.

It’s not too late to participate and registrations will be accepted through Thursday, July 10, at http://www.leukemiacup.org/va. And those that choose not to be on the race course can register for dinners by J&W Seafood along with gala festivities on Friday and Saturday nights to include musical entertainment and an auction.

Registration for the Regatta and a detailed calendar of events is now available online at http://www.leukemiacup.org/va.
