Cocktail racers under construction
A new fleet of the Cocktail Class Wooden Boat Racing Association (CCWBRA) has formed in Urbanna and boat building is under way. Six boats are under construction at a building on Virginia Street next to the ABC store in Urbanna, and the public is invited to stop by and see them. Builders will be working on Saturday and Sunday.
A regatta of these 8-foot-long boats is set for May 18 on Urbanna Creek.
