Change of venue for ‘Sweet Justice’ concert

The classic rock group “Sweet Justice” will perform Saturday, July 4, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Taber Park in Urbanna. The band was previously scheduled to perform at the Urbanna Town Marina at Upton’s Point on Urbanna Creek.

Admission is free. Bring food and lawn chairs. The concert is sponsored by the Urbanna Business Association.

“Sweet Justice” also will play on Saturday, July 11, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville for the Leukemia Cup Regatta gala. Call 804-627-0400, ext. 24, for details.

The band plays songs from the 1970s and 80s. Members of the band include Beth Justice, lead vocalist; Rod McMordie, bass and vocals; Mike James, drums and vocals; Trey Moyer, lead guitar and vocals; Linni Disse, lead guitar and vocals; and Marin Shifflett, sound.
