C&F Bank announced recently that it will make a $20,000 contribution to the Syd Thrift Athletic Complex at Middlesex High School. Construction on the complex is expected to begin in the next month, and will include new football, baseball, softball and soccer fields, a track and field facility, tennis courts, practice fields, bleachers, concession stand, and restrooms.
“Our corporate support for the Syd Thrift Athletic Complex is directly in line with our corporate mission of ‘Focused on You,’ ” stated Elizabeth Faudree, vice president and branch manager of C&F’s Middlesex Branch office at Cooks Corner. “We are extremely proud to partner with Middlesex County and the Friends of Middlesex County Public Schools to bring this dream to reality.”
