Boxed lunches to be sold by Woman’s Club

The Middlesex County Woman’s Club will be visiting businesses throughout the county next week (March 4-7) to take boxed lunch orders for delivery to their business on March 21. Also, individuals may place take-out orders by calling Barb Fasig at 804-366-1465 before March 7 for pick-up March 21 at the Urbanna clubhouse at 210 Virginia Street. Each boxed lunch includes a choice of Italian sub or a salad of salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato, plus Italian dressing, deviled egg, cole slaw, pickle and condiments, bag of chips, homemade brownie and after-lunch mint at a cost of $12. All proceeds from the sale go to community services throughout Middlesex County. Above, Woman’s Club members set up an Italian sub assembly line to fill orders last year.
