African American History Exhibit opens February 1

The February 2013 African American History Exhibit at the Gloucester Museum of History will feature the history of Woodville School, one of Gloucester’s first African American Schools. The display will be arranged by Dr. Wesley Wilson of Gloucester and will open February 1.
A Daffodil Exhibit will be featured in March and April followed by a Gloucester Military Exhibit in May.
The museum is in the historic Botetourt Building at 6539 Main Street and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Hours are subject to change without notice due to inclement weather and other emergencies. For information and tours, call 693-1234.
