The Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad (CMVRS) and Auxiliary thanks all who came out for its “A Night To Remember” concert last Saturday evening. It was a huge success!

The auxiliary thanks St. Clare Walker Middle School and its staff for letting the CMVRS use the school and the Middlesex County School Board.

Thanks to performers Pastor Hyung Moon, Roland Pierce, Iona Ransone, George Robinson and Company, Cindy Kellar and Dennis White. Great job!

Thanks to recording artists “The Holmes Brothers” for performing the last half of the program. Sherman Holmes, Wendell Holmes and Popsy Dixon, we thank you all so much. Also, thanks to all the sound people who worked behind the scenes to get the concert ready.

Thanks to Eddie “Boy” Harrow Jr. for the outstanding comedy and the Gloucester Chic-Fil-A Moo Cow for visiting and helping hand out door prizes. Thanks to Colonial Pizza, River Day Spa, Walmart, Taste of Gourmet, and Food Lion for furnishing door prizes.

Other sponsors were Urbanna Market, EASI Printing, Charles “Bunny” Dunlevy, Southside Sentinel, and Marshall’s Drug (Miss Pat) for all your help and donations, and to all the local radio stations for promoting the concert.

Thanks again to all who came out to support the rescue squad.

The next fundraiser will be the “Spaghetti Drive Thru” on Saturday, April 26, from 5-7 p.m. Hope to see you there. Tickets will go on sale the first of April and can be purchased from any auxiliary member.
