Garden Week tour of K&Q is April 26

On Friday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Garden Club of the Middle Peninsula will offer a tour of four homes, all open for the first time during Historic Garden Week. In addition, three historic churches and one museum will be open for visitors.

Cancer survivor to speak at Relay for Life event

Garden Week tour of Mathews is April 27

The Garden Club of Gloucester will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Historic Garden Week in Virginia with a history-packed house tour from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Four unique homes and one stunning garden, all in Mathews County, will be open this year.

Relay for Life fundraiser features kids carnival, food, I-Dent-A Kid, motorcycles, vendors

There will be something for everyone! Several teams will join together to offer a kids carnival, vendor show, hair cut-a-thon, pick a duck, face painting, tattoos, hairspray, pick a prize, water balloon toss, clowns, make a bracelet, hot dogs, popcorn, candy, donuts, cakes and sno-cones.
