Museum announces concert schedule
If you are looking for great live concerts in a beautiful waterfront setting, the Deltaville Maritime Museum’s “Groovin’ in the Park” music series is really stepping it up a notch with this year’s schedule of stellar performers. All Groovin’ concerts are 6 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of the month, from April through September, coinciding with the Deltaville Farmers’ Market dates.

Northern Neck Orchestra concert is February 26
imageThe Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO) will present “Serenade for a Winter’s Day,” featuring the music of Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn and Strauss, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, at Northumberland High School.

Talent Search winner to be featured at Donk’s
imageOn Saturday, February 18, Donk’s Theater in Mathews will open its 37th year with a show designed to greet the 2012 Opry cast and present the winner of the 2011 Talent Search competition, Nancy McClain of White Stone. McClain will be featured on the opening show and Faron Winter also will perform.

The CCS Theatre Dept. Presents… Anything Goes!
imageThe Christchurch School Theatre Department, under the direction of Mr. Stephen Kasold, is pleased to present Cole Porter’s madcap musical Anything Goes. Set in the 1930s, the show takes place aboard an ocean liner, sailing from New York to England.
