‘Brew Jam’ to feature microbrews and 4 bands
“Brew Jam,” a music and beer festival, will be held from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at 6596 Main Street (Tabb House lawn) in Gloucester Court House. The public is invited to come out and enjoy 20 microbrews and four local bands: Juniper Green, Mercy Creek, Sarah Williams and Snackbar Jones.

Menokin Music Festival is Saturday in Warsaw
The Menokin Music Festival Pick Nick from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, is a family affair. Always a festival favorite, the moonbounce and giant slide will be inflated and ready for action. Parents need only keep track of shoes, since these rides will be supervised by the operators.

Donk’s to present tribute to Elvis this Saturday
imageOver the years the Donk’s staff has presented tributes to a number of country music greats and the show on Saturday, May 12, will be a tribute to the “King” of country and country rock music, Elvis Presley. The cast of The Li’l Ole Opry will dress as Elvis and perform Elvis songs, each with their own individual “twist.”

Lindbergh book now available
image“Against Wind and Tide,” the latest book of Anne Morrow Lindbergh’s diaries and letters from 1947 through 1986, is available for sale as a fundraiser for the Deltaville Friends of the Library. This offering precedes a presentation to be given by Lindbergh’s daughter, Reeve Lindbergh, who is also the book’s editor, at the Deltaville Library.
