First autumn market due Saturday at maritime park
This market will open the museum’s fall market season of two Autumn Markets, which lead into the extremely popular seasonal gift-oriented “Holiday Market” and “Pierwalk Promenade,” both held on Thanksgiving Saturday. Don’t forget that cooler and lawn chair.

‘Oyster Tasting’ to benefit Jacob’s Ladder program
imageOn Sunday, September 30, Rappahannock River Oysters will host an “Oyster Tasting” to benefit Jacob’s Ladder from 3 to 5 p.m. at Locklies Marina in Topping. Guests will have the opportunity to taste Rappahannocks, Olde Salts, & Stingrays — 3 native oysters re-introduced into the Chesapeake Bay the owners of RRO.
