RAL announces featured artists
imageA photographer and a watercolorist are the featured artists in the June windows at the Rappahannock Art League (RAL) Studio Gallery. “Most of my subjects don’t move,” said featured photographer Tom Norris of White Stone, referring to the fact that his subjects are generally something that he can study and return to often as needed to capture its spirit.

RivahFest to feature a variety of entertainment
Music is at the heart of every celebration, and this year’s RivahFest will be no exception. The musical entertainment at the Tappahannock celebration on Saturday, June 16, will once again have visitors having a ball and dancing in the streets, festival planners announced.

Music Festival features competition for young artists
The third annual YMCA Kekoka Music Festival will open Friday, June 1, with a competition to discover the best new musician or musical group. The winning artist will be featured in next year’s festival musician lineup on Camp Kekoka’s Riverfront Stage.

MES Art Show to feature more than just art
