Art on Fishing Bay is Friday in Deltaville
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will once again present Art on Fishing Bay during this 13th anniversary year of the Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup series. The art show is set for Friday, June 3, from 6-9 p.m. at Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville.

Joan E. Gosier is author of Cotton Pickin’ Paycheck
, a journal of her life that she self-published in 2009 and has been updating ever since. Gosier’s father, John Robert Johnson, was a native of Middlesex born in 1909. His ancestors were slaves of the Jones family that owned Hewick Plantation near Urbanna.
Locust Hill twin brothers celebrate birthday by helping those in need
Twin brothers Cole and Tyler Radabaugh of Locust Hill celebrated their 11th birthday in what appeared to be an “average” way with a birthday party hosted by their parents, Russell and Lauren Radabaugh, at the Middlesex YMCA.
DCA plans for June 15 opening of Deltaville Pool
Project managers for the Deltaville Community Association (DCA) tornado repair project, Billy Norton and John Koedel, reported at the May 19 board meeting that the pool building and grounds were underinsured and additional funds will be needed to upgrade and complete the project.
