Memory Lane Car Club ‘beauties’ to be featured at Waterman’s Weekend
I know there are a lot of folks out there who not only love the nostalgia of classic antique cars but also enjoy the sleek lines, period colors, and whimsical nature of these icons of yesteryear. There will be plenty of “yesteryear” for everybody to see and enjoy during the Deltaville Maritime Museum’s “Working Waterman’s Weekend” beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 22.
Train enthusiast bringing his display to Deltaville
Gary W. Thimsen of Urbanna and I had the opportunity to meet on location to discuss his involvement with the Train and Miniature Carnival Display, which will be held April 10-15 at the Deltaville Library. Thimsen’s background is extensive when it comes to trains.

Historical scavenger hunt kicks off opening of visitor centers in county museums
About 50 people participated in the "Chasing History Across Middlesex Scavenger Hunt" on March 18, which posed questions that could be answered by “scavenging” information from the three museums/visitors centers that are part of Museums of Middlesex.
