Sisters raise over $6,000 for diabetes research

Group to promote ‘Back in the Day’ historical cruises
The Deltaville Maritime Museum’s reproduction of John Smith sailing barge, “Explorer,” was fitted with a user-friendly sailing rig this fall in anticipation of a part in the movie “To Have and To Hold.” Unfortunately, the movie big-wigs decided to use a blue screen instead of the real boat.

Christmas Crafts Show begins Friday in Deltaville
The 5th annual Juried Christmas Crafts on the Rivah Show will be presented by the Middlesex County Public Library at the Deltaville Branch on Friday, November 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, November 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Concert, wine tasting at 51 Cross Street Friday

K&Q Holiday Open House due Dec. 4
imageThe King and Queen Courthouse Tavern Museum will hold its 5th annual old-fashioned Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the museum at King and Queen Court House. The Children’s Choir from Aylett Country Day School will bring the spirit of the holidays!
