Kid’s Explorer Day, the annual Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park's whimsical open-air theatre for young and old, which was scheduled for this Saturday, August 14, has been canceled.

‘Flashback’ to perform at Crab Feast in Deltaville
The annual Lower Middle-sex Volunteer Fire Department Crab Feast will be held at the Deltaville Firehouse on Saturday, August 7, from 5 p.m. to midnight. The ticket includes all the steamed crabs one can eat, plus hamburgers, hot dogs and corn-on-the-cob. The food will be served from 5 to 8 p.m.
Paddle boarding: quietly explore the water
Jack Banks and his son Hunter built a wooden stand-up paddle board at their home in Wake. The board glides easily, pushed by a long paddle and the leverage of using your whole body. By standing, the paddler has a good view into the water and surroundings. The board draws about 8 inches of water, allowing nearly silent access to shallow water.
