‘Treasure Island’ opens tonight
Ready for a wild adventure, pirate style? The Court House Players in association with Gloucester High School has teamed up for a community production of “Treasure Island” based on the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel. The show opens at Gloucester High School on Thursday, April 19, and continues Friday and Saturday, April 20-21, and Saturday April 28, all at 8 p.m.
In concert Sunday: Imani Winds
One of North America’s premier wind quintets, “Imani Winds,” will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in the Lancaster Middle School Theater. The concert is part of the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts’ On Stage series and is sponsored by River Counties Community Foundation.
40+ vendors expected at Deltaville Farmers’ Market

Culley to be honored Thursday
With 18 years of service, Middlesex County Administrator Charles Culley has served the county longer than any other previous county administrator. Culley recently accepted the position of county administrator in Caroline County and will start to work there May 1. His last official day in Middlesex will be Sunday, April 15.
