MIDDLESEX COUNTY WETLANDS BOARD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1302.6 of the Code of Virginia that a public hearing will be held by the Middlesex County Wetlands Board on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 9:00 AM to consider the following:
1. Wetlands Application # 2011-1315 submitted by Michelle Meredith on behalf of Pat Linnell. This request is to grade back the shoreline cliff to a 2:1 slope, which will remove 44 trees that prohibit vegetation growth. Filter Cloth will be laid and 8' width of rip rap to be installed along the 431' shoreline. Class I & Class II stone will be used within the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction. The proposed project is located on Jackson Creek, at Tax Map Parcel # 40-390.
2. Wetlands Application # 2011-1359 submitted by Coastal Marine Consulting on behalf of Forrest McGee. This request is to install 130' of class II riprap revetment in front of existing bulkhead within the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction. The proposed project is located on Rappahannock River, at Tax Map Parcel # 30G-1-11.
The Wetlands Board meeting will be held in the Board Room of the Historic Courthouse, 865 General Puller Highway, Saluda, VA, 23149. All interested persons are encouraged to attend to present their views concerning this application.
