NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Urbanna Planning Commission and Urbanna Town Council will hold public hearings on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 7:00p.m. in the Council Chambers, 45 Cross Street, Urbanna, VA 23175 to consider the FY 2019-20 Capital Improvement Plan(CIP) for the Town. The public is invited to share their comments.
At the conclusion of the public hearing the Planning Commission will then make their CIP recommendations to Town Council. The Town Council will then hold a public hearing on the plan and adopt the plan for inclusion in the FY 2019-20 budget. A copy of the proposed CIP is available for review at the Town Office, 45 Cross Street, Urbanna, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. (3-14, 3-21)

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Mr. and Mrs. Ray W. Dezern, Jr. have requested authorization from the Virginia Marine Resources Commission to install 453 linear feet of quarry stone riprap revetment, replace existing timber groins with six (6) new, low-profile timber groins and nourish the shoreline with 550 cubic yards of clean sand material at property on Stampers Bay of the Piankatank River at 323 and 371 Twiggs Ferry Road in Middlesex County.

In execution of the Deed of Trust dated May 20, 2009, and recorded as Instrument Number 090001211, of the Middlesex County land records the undersigned Substitute Trustees, will offer for sale at public auction on March 15, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the front entrance to the building housing the Circuit Court of Middlesex County, Virginia, at Saluda, Virginia, the following property:
All that certain piece or parcel of land, situated in Pinetop Magisterial District, Middlesex County, Virginia, lying on the southern side of State Route #624, as the same leads from Topping to Syringa, and containing 1.238 acres. For a more accurate and particular description as to the metes and bounds of the property conveyed, reference is made to a plat of survey, prepared by John T. Ward, LS., dated July 13, 1990, recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Middlesex County, Virginia, in Deed Book 192, page 272.

The property and improvements will be sold in “as is” physical condition without warranty of any kind.
TERMS OF SALE: A non-refundable bidder’s deposit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the successful bid payable by cashier’s/certified check required at time of sale except for the party secured by the Deed of Trust. Risk of loss on purchaser from date and time of auction. Balance of the purchase price must be paid by cashier’s check within 14 days from sale date. Except for Virginia Grantor tax, all settlement costs and expenses are purchaser’s responsibility. Real estate taxes will be pro-rated to the date of sale. Purchaser is responsible for obtaining possession of the property.
