NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
The Urbanna Town Council will hold two public hearings on September 21, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers, 45 Cross Street, Urbanna VA 23175. The purpose of the first public hearing is to consider an amendment to Chapter 17, Zoning Ordinance, to amend Section 4.7.4 Items B and E to relieve certain waterfront property owners of requirements to reserve a portion of their property for public access to the waterfront. The second public hearing is to update the various definitions found within Chapter 17 (Zoning) of the Town Code and consolidate them into a single location within the code, that being Section 17-13.2 (Definitions). The public is invited to share their comments. A copy of the proposed ordinance amendment can be viewed at Town Hall, 45 Cross Street, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30 PM. (9-3-2t)
