Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville will dedicate its rebuilt sanctuary on Sunday, September 8, at 2 p.m.
“Since April of 2011, the congregation has worked and looked forward to this day,” said a church spokesperson. “Unlike the tornado that destroyed the sanctuary and damaged the fellowship hall, the rebuilding process has strengthened our spirits and brought the community together. God works in amazing ways.”
“Our members are thankful to our Lord for His many blessings and for providing our community with a beautiful sanctuary in which to worship,” said Zoar Pastor John Snow.
All those who cannot be at Zoar on September 8 are invited to an open house on Sunday, September 15, from 2-4 p.m. All are welcome to come take a peek and enjoy some light refreshments. Church members will be available to take visitors on a tour and to answer any questions about the new sanctuary.
“Our community has been and continues to be so supportive; we invite everyone to see inside the church,” said Pastor Snow.
