Zoar to celebrate 200th anniversary
The community is invited to share in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville this Sunday, November 16.
The morning service begins at 10 a.m., afternoon service at 1 p.m. with lunch following the morning service.
Participating in the services will be four former pastors and John Upton, executive director of the Virginia Baptists Missions Board, and Fred Anderson, executive director of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society. Special music will be provided by the adult and children’s choirs, the men’s quartet, Bruce and Carolyn Miller, and soloist Mary Johnson.
