York River District Youth Choir to perform at Methodist churches
Under the direction of founder Aaron Ward, the York River District Youth Choir (YRDYC), which is comprised of youth from the York River and Fredericksburg districts of the United Methodist Church, has shared the love of Christ with others, from their home base in Middlesex County to Russia and points in between.
This year the choir traveled to New Jersey to work with “A Future With Hope,” an organization dedicated to rebuilding lives and homes devastated by Super Storm Sandy. After a week of mission work, the choir has returned to Virginia to tour and share its experiences and faith through song.
The public is invited to support the YRDYC and share in its mission by attending one of its worship services.
