Worship at the Beach begins this Sunday, May 24, at 8:30 a.m. in Deltaville and continues each Sunday through Labor Day, September 6.

The public is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets as worshippers gather among the pine trees and look out toward the Chesapeake Bay.

To get to the beach site, take Route 33 south toward Stingray Point.  Turn left on Route 688 (Speck Ave.), and greeters will direct motorists to parking areas while distributing song sheets and bulletins.

Worship at the Beach is a ministry of Zoar Baptist Church and led by Pastor John Snow. It is open to all denominations.

In the event of rain, the group will meet in the sanctuary of Zoar at 17097 General Puller Highway.

For further information, call the church office at 776-9502.
