VBS begins Sunday at Harmony Grove Baptist
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is from Sunday, August 1, through Thursday, August 5, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church near Topping. The Bible school is titled “SonQuest Rainforest.”
Participants will begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by opening exercises and then Bible study, crafts, music and Bible stories.
VBS is open to all children ages 3 through 5th grade. Instead of an offering this year, children should bring canned goods for the food pantry. If transportation is needed, call the church office at 758-5154 and ask for Marcus Vaughan, the youth/children’s director.
VBS commencement will be on August 8 at the 11 a.m. worship service followed by a finger-food luncheon.
