Unitarians to discuss ‘Guns and Violence’

On Sunday, March 3, Ruth Micklem will speak at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR) on the subject of “Guns and Violence.”

In light of the tragedy in Newtown, Aurora, Tucson, Fort Hood, Virginia Tech, Columbine, Oak Creek and so many more, how do we actively and respectively engage in the efforts to end gun violence? How can we as individuals and as a congregation play a role in changing the conversation around guns in America?

The UUFR meets every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at 366 James Wharf Road in White Stone. Coffee and conversation will follow the service.
