Unitarians to dedicate memorial area Sunday
On Sunday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m., the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock (UUFR) will celebrate the dedication of its “Pathways of Remembrance Memorial Area” and will honor the 10 members who are currently memorialized there: Ed Mobley, Lynda Weber, Adele Failmezger, Vera LaFolette, Maria Parrish, Richard Ward, Andy Kelsey, Wade Mann, Larry Graves and Donald Miller.
The public is invited to this special service and lunch and fellowship.
“The dedication service will be a very special occasion in the life of UUFR,” said a church spokesperson. “The UUFR has established this memorial area on the fellowship grounds as the place for the permanent remembrance of UUFR members who have departed our world. These precious members are with us in spirit and their contributions to our fellowship live on.”
