‘Studio GO!’ VBS set for Aug. 2-6 at Lower Church

Welcome to Studio GO! Game show! Excitement and teamwork await as kids enter a studio geared for challenges and fun.

Studio GO! is the title of Vacation Bible School at Lower United Methodist Church at Hartfield from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. August 2-6.

Each day at Studio GO! kids will participate in the large-group music, skits and fun where they will be introduced to a Bible story and life focus. Then, after kids experience the other activities of the day, they’ll gather back at Studio GO! to review, be encouraged, and be motivated to go out and serve others.

Other sites include the Prime Time Bible Challenge where kids will explore the Bible story in a variety of interactive ways and apply the story by completing the “Go for It!” challenges; Service Showcase where kids will hear stories  about real-life servants and will take part in their own service projects; Backstage Food & Fun where kids will have time to move around and fill up; and Spotlight Creations where they will create crafts that are service and lesson-oriented.

Beginning each evening the host at Studio GO!, Wade Winalot, will challenge two celebrity contestants, Coach Armstrong and Professor Wordsmart, along with  the VBS kids to see and understand how God works in the lives of those who trust Him. “The challenges will help kids: Go lead! Go risk! Go tell! Go obey! Go Serve!” said a VBS spokesperson.

Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Studio GO! is geared for children ages 3 through adults.

“Wade, Coach Armstrong and Professor Wordsmart are waiting! Don’t miss this exciting, challenging, game-show-fun VBS program!” said the spokesperson.
