SRBA board meets Saturday
The next meeting of the Southside Rappahannock Baptist Association (SRBA) and its Allied Bodies Board will be on Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. at Union Shiloh Baptist Church in Jamaica, where Rev. Frederick Young is pastor. The SRBA Board consists of all officers of SRBA and its Allied Bodies who were installed at the Annual Session last July.
This meeting call from moderator Percy E. Pollard is to encourage broad participation as the SRBA moves into its 136th year of service. “This is a great time to sign–on, to step-up, and to be among the counted. So, even if you are not an official board member, but serve in one of the member churches join us on March 9,” said Pollard.
The Women’s Ministry will start its meeting at 8:30 a.m.
Pastors and ministers (officially called the Southside Ministerial Alliance) will meet immediately after the regular session during the lunch period provided by Union Shiloh.
“The board is open to your collective inputs as we build an even greater SRBA legacy for the future,” said Pollard.
