Southside RBA Board meeting set for Saturday
The next meeting for the Southside Rappahannock Baptist Association (SRBA) Board will be on Saturday, October 13, at 10 a.m. at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Walkerton where Rev. Robert D. Brown is pastor.
All SRBA board members and officers of its Allied Bodies are asked to attend. Any of the pastors/ministers or members of the 35 affiliated churches are always welcome.
This meeting will focus on plans for the November “One Day Session” as the SRBA moves toward its 136th year of service. “At this point, we are continuing to seek creative input/ideas for the coming years as we build on our positive historical legacy,” said an SRBA spokesperson.
The Women’s Ministry will start its meeting at 8:30 a.m. before the parent body. Pastors and ministers will not meet during lunch as usual.
