Solid Rock Church plans encouragement program

Solid Rock Church of Deliverance is currently established as an outreach ministry and holds a healing and encouragement program on the third Saturday of each month at Lebanon Worship Center in Saluda.

On June 16 at 3 p.m. Rev. Larrine Goins will lead a program titled “Kickback for Jesus” that is about giving God praise through song, dance and spoken words. Rev. Goins said she was given the vision for this program just this past weekend and believes by God’s will this event will be manifested and become the start of many more to come.

She is actively looking for youth and young adult choirs, singers, praise dancers, mimes, poets and others to perform at this event. She is hoping to have representation and support from all churches in the surrounding counties, if not by performance on the program, then by attendance at the program. To be added to the program or more information call 804-384-6946 or 804-382-8662 or email .

Rev. Goins said she is prayerful that word travels fast to surrounding counties. “My vision is that the graduating seniors as well as underclassmen and parents will be excited about the idea and choose to worship with us,” said Rev. Goins. “I recognize that this program is scheduled on the day of many high school graduation ceremonies in the area but pray that parents and youth will choose to give God a couple of hours and come together in prayer and praise to kickoff summer break.”
