Martin’s music reflects the greats of traditional jazz and blues, but also relates to the world today. “Based in the peaceful Shenandoah Valley, her skillful song crafting and solid guitar chops set her apart. Her performances seamlessly cross genres, reflecting her unique blend of styles,” said a program spokesperson.
Martin has appeared at the Kennedy Center, The Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, the Maryland Hall for Creative Arts, the Fleet Blues Festival in Albany, N.Y., and many other venues, including theaters in Ireland.
Recordings will be available.
The UUFR church is at 366 James Wharf Road in Irvington. All are welcome to attend.
