Rice promoted by Hospice

Lori Rice

Hospice of Virginia has announced that Lori Rice, RN, CHPN, has been promoted to the position of branch manager for Hospice of Virginia’s Tappahannock office. In her new position, she will oversee a team of medical professionals providing care to terminally ill patients and their families.

Rice who is a Certified Hospice Palliative Care Nurse has functioned as a case manager with Hospice of Virginia for five years. She is a graduate of Riverside Regional Hospital School of Nursing and has over 25 years in the nursing profession. She previously worked for Rappahannock General Hospital’s Home Health Services as a home health nurse and as a school nurse in Lancaster County.  She lives in Northumberland County with her two children, Cory and Heather.

Hospice of Virginia’s Tappahannock office provides hospice services to patients and their families who reside in Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King William, Westmoreland, Richmond, Northumberland, Middlesex, Lancaster, and King George counties.
