Philippi to install Pastor June Haislip
At 10 a.m. on Sunday, February 17, a service to install Rev. June E. Haislip as pastor of Philippi Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Deltaville will be held in the sanctuary.
The service of installation will include Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) regional minister Rev. Lee Parker as guest speaker, special music, a reaffirmation of ordination vows for the pastor, and a covenant between pastor and congregation. A reception to be held in the fellowship hall will follow the service. The community is invited to attend this service, which will provide an opportunity to enjoy the recent restoration and renovation of the Philippi sanctuary.
