Mt. Zion homecoming is Sunday, revival set for August 13-16

The Mt. Zion Baptist Church family of Church View will celebrate its annual Homecoming Services on Sunday, August 11, at 11 a.m. The morning message will be delivered by Rev. James Pollard, pastor of Zion Baptist Church of Ardmore, Pa. The music will be rendered by the Mt. Zion Church Mass Choir.

Immediately following the morning service lunch will be served. The afternoon service will begin at 3 p.m. with special guest Rev. Frederick Young Sr., his choir, ushers and congregation from Union Shiloh Baptist Church in Laneview.

Revival services begin Tuesday, August 13, and continue through Friday, August 16, at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The musical guests will be provided by each church except Friday evening. Tuesday will be Rev. Arthur Roane, Escobrook, King and Queen; Wednesday, Rev. Woodland Holmes, First Baptist Harmony Village, Middlesex; Thursday, Rev. Robert D. Brown, New Mt. Zion, King and Queen; and Friday, Rev. Garry Garnett, Metropolitan, Middlesex, with musical guests, Laymetha Reed-Guy and the “Sounds of Rapture.”
