Morning Bible studies resume at Zoar Baptist

The Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study and the Men’s Thursday Morning Bible Study will resume this week and continue throughout the winter and spring months. Both groups meet at the Zoar Baptist Church fellowship hall in Deltaville and are open to everyone in the community.

Both studies welcome drop-ins and encourage visitors. Participants do not need to purchase a book. These studies both meet for about an hour.

The Men’s Bible Study is led by Dr. John Snow, pastor of Zoar. The group continues to study disciplines of the Bible and meets at 9 a.m. every Thursday morning. Group members have been discussing the book “Crazy Love” and watching videos by Francis Chan.

The Women’s Bible Study meets at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and snacks prior to the beginning of the study at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. The group is studying different women of the Bible, and each Wednesday a woman from the Bible is presented and discussed. This study is coordinated by Emily Bailey.

Anyone interested in attending is welcome to drop in or call Zoar Baptist Church at 776-9502 or 776-9507, or visit the website for more information.
