Lower UMC continues summer program Sunday

Lower United Methodist Church in Hartfield will continue its summer programs for adults, youth and children this Sunday, July 15. Everyone is invited to come for a free breakfast at 8:30 a.m. From 9-10:30 a.m. children and youth will continue on their “Summer Road Trip—Following God’s Road Map.” This Sunday they will focus on “Emoji Prayers” when they’ll be using Emoji faces to remind them they can talk to God about anything.

From 9-10:15 a.m. the adults will have their next session of Lifetree Cafe, which is a weekly, hour-long experience that features real people’s stories on film, guided conversation, biblical insights, and time to build relationships. This Sunday’s session is titled “The Bible.” In the video presentation they will meet Eugene Peterson, author of “The Message,” as they consider whether the Bible is really all it’s said to be.

The church’s summer programs will be held each Sunday through August 5. Missed last week’s session? No problem. Come for one or come for all sessions, and bring a friend.
