Lenten lunches continue
Clarksbury United Methodist Church in Deltaville has resumed its annual Lenten Lunch Series and invites the public to attend.
Lunch begins promptly at noon and is $6. Proceeds benefit the St. Andrews Society Potato Project and Hands Across Middlesex.
Upcoming speakers will be: March 6, Rev. Gerry Burkholder, Middlesex Charge; March 13, Rev. Hyung I. Moon, Urbanna UMC; March 20, Rev. June Haislip, Philippi Christian Church; and March 27, Rev. Eric Vaudt, Clarksbury UMC.
“This is also the time to place your order for homemade Easter eggs made by the United Methodist Women of Clarksbury. You won’t want to miss any of these events!” said Rev. Vaudt.
