‘Kingdom Come’ to be discussed

The public is invited to join Unity of the Chesapeake for an interactive message titled “Kingdom Come” on Sunday, January 13, at the Lancaster Community Library, 235 School Street, Kilmarnock.

Coffee will be served from 10:30-11 a.m.; the worship service will be from 11 a.m.-noon; and discussion and refreshments will be from noon-12:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Richard Bunch, co-minister, Unity of Richmond.

“Kingdom Come,” a book by Rev. Ed Townley, approaches the New Testament book Revelation as “a personal, practical guide to spiritual growth rather than as an apocalyptic end-of-the world prophecy.”

Rev. Bunch will look beyond Revelation’s gloomy shadows to provide a message of creative, spiritual possibilities. Overall, Unity interprets the book of Revelation as a means to finding the good in life’s darkest challenges today.

For more information, call Jay and Rita DePew at 435-9553.
