In honor of our veterans
Clarksbury United Methodist Church conducted an inspirational service on November 9 honoring all veterans. After the morning service, all worshippers adjourned to the front lawn where Pastor Eric Vaudt, a Navy veteran, read a litany and gave a prayer. Each person then placed an American flag in the ground to honor all veterans as the church bell was rung in their honor. On Veterans Day, April Mauney arranged the American flags into a cross to further honor these American heroes.
