Holiday carol sing at Historic Christ Church on Monday

The Chesapeake Chorale and the Christchurch School Cantorion will perform at Historic Christ Church & Museum’s annual “The Holly & The Ivy” on Monday, December 3, at 3:30 p.m. at 420 Christ Church Road, Weems. The community is invited to join in this festive program of traditional carols. Admission is two non-perishable items for the Healthy Harvest Food Bank.

Dr. Cheryl Brown Davis accompanied by Beth Conley will direct The Chesapeake Chorale as it performs holiday songs such as Craig Courtney’s “How Great Our Joy,” “Salvation is Created” by P. Chesnokov, and the Polish carol “Infant Holy.”

The Chesapeake Chorale will also perform “Jesu Bambino,” “The Light of Christmas Morn,” “For Unto Us a Child is Born” and others.
