Harmony Grove plans Advent services, events

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, church members, GAs, Acteens and guests of Harmony Grove Baptist Church will go Christmas caroling and deliver fruit baskets to shut-ins. All are invited to participate.

On Sunday and Monday, December 22-23, from 6-8 p.m., members of Harmony Grove will present a live nativity and the singing of Christmas carols. 

Harmony Grove Baptist Church is at the intersection of Routes 3 and 33 (at the stoplight) near Topping. The public is invited drive by and/or pull into the parking lot to see the live nativity scene. 

On Tuesday, December 24, Harmony Grove will have a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 5 p.m., which will feature a story and gift for each of the children, the lighting of the Jesus candle in the Advent wreath, and the placing of the last figures in the manger scene by the children. The Chancel Choir will sing “O Holy Night” with the congregation singing Christmas carols and lighting candles while singing “Silent Night.” The public is invited to attend.
