Hands Across Middlesex meets Sunday at LUMC

This Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. Hands Across Middlesex will meet on the lower level at Lower United Methodist Church on Route 33 near Fleet Brothers in Hartfield.

Immediately following the business meeting, Ellen Tenenbaum from Rockville, Md., will give a one-hour piano concert in the fellowship hall on the upper level to benefit the ongoing good work done by Hands Across Middlesex. The concert is free, and all ages will enjoy the music of Chopin, Mozart, Schubert and Scott Joplin. There will be an opportunity for a free will offering and refreshments after the concert.

The public is invited to come at 2 p.m. to learn about the work of Hands Across Middlesex and visit with Tenenbaum and Hands volunteers around cookies and punch.

Hands Across Middlesex is a non-profit, interfaith organization that has been servicing the under-served families in the county for 16 years.
