Hands Across Middlesex

The December meeting was held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Town Bridge Road outside of Urbanna. Twenty-two people attended and many churches were represented. We met in the recently-completed fellowship hall. It is a lovely room. All of the church members should be proud of it. Thank you all for inviting us to share your beautiful addition.
Our main focus this afternoon was to firm up our plans for the Christmas meal deliveries. Our plan of action will be somewhat different this year. Instead of all contributions being prepared at home and delivered to Urbanna United Methodist Church by 9 a.m., much of the food will be prepared in the church kitchen, beginning at 7 a.m. Those of you packaging the meals will need to be at the church by 9 a.m. Those delivering meals can start that process at 9:15 a.m. We look forward to as many people as possible to participate at any one of these three times. Thank you in advance for donating your time to a worthy cause at this very busy time of the year.
