The Habitat for Humanity Middlesex Board of Directors is pleased to announce the creation of an Honorary Board of Directors, comprised of community and business leaders who will serve as the “Voice of Habitat” in the Middlesex community.
The members of the Habitat for Humanity Middlesex Honorary Board of Directors are Cean and Bill Cawthorn, Ed Fisher, Cookie and Johnny Fleet, Edward Harrow Sr., Shelly and Keith Hodges, Mary Lib and Dieter Hoinkes, Wayne Jessie Sr., Carl R. Johnson, and Sally Gayle and Charles Revere.
At the orientation reception for the Honorary Board hosted by Dave and Linda Cryer on June 28, the governing Board of Directors and Honorary Board reviewed the immediate needs of Habitat Middlesex: volunteers and donations for the Habitat house currently under construction in Deltaville; and building sites and donations for the purchase of a building site for the next Habitat Middlesex house.
Habitat Middlesex is a 501c3 non-profit affiliate of Habitat International. All donations to Habitat Middlesex are tax-deductible and can be sent to Habitat Middlesex, P.O. Box 492, Hartfield VA 23071.
Individuals and organizations that would like to create a “Volunteer Team” to aid in the construction of the Deltaville Habitat house, please contact Habitat president Greg Chambers at 804-832-9496.
