Grafton to celebrate homecoming Sunday; revival begins Tuesday

Grafton Baptist Church (GBC) in Hartfield will celebrate its Homecoming Service on Sunday, August 10, at 11 a.m. Rev. Malcolm Lee, associate minister of Immanuel Baptist Church, will bring the message and music will be rendered by the GBC Combined Choir.

“Please join us in worship and fellowship as we welcome Pastor-Elect Lewis H. Johnson Sr. and his family to Grafton,” said a church spokesperson. 

A fellowship meal will follow the service. There will not be an afternoon service. 

Revival will begin on Tuesday, August 12, with Rev. Kevin Smith, Wayland Baptist Church; Wednesday, Rev. Earl T. Howerton, Little Zion, Oak Grove; Thursday, Rev. Leonard Edloe, New Hope Fellowship; and Friday, Rev. Sheldon Pleasant, Faith Builders Baptist Church.

Prayer and praise will begin nightly at 7:30 p.m.
